Count 1, 2, 3, 4 fingers,
Then add in 1 thumb.
Hands together, 5 + 5,
And you find the sum.
Use your fingers to keep track
As you count the numbers back:
5 lizards in the sun
3 lizards jump and run
5, 4, 3 leaves
2 lizards in the sun.
Shapes are wide or narrow,
Shapes are short or tall.
But shapes are just flat
With no thickness at all!
